This policy explains how Triangulate ("we", "us") handles information in the Triangulate application at app.triangulate.biz, an operations platform for land-surveying firms.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form), or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture your Google account shares with us.
- Business information: the clients, projects, quotes, invoices, schedules, documents and other records you and your organization enter or upload.
- Technical information: sign-in session cookies and error reports needed to keep the service working and secure.
How we use information
We use this information only to provide and support the service: to sign you in, show your organization its own data, send emails you or your colleagues trigger (such as invitations, quotes and password resets), look up addresses, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
When you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive only your basic profile (name, email address and profile picture) and use it solely to create and sign in to your Triangulate account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or other Google data. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that run parts of the service for us, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in
- Vercel: application hosting
- Resend: sending emails
- Sentry: error monitoring
- Google: Google sign-in and address lookup
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to your organization's authorized users. We keep information for as long as your organization uses the service, or as needed to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing info@triangulate.biz. You can also remove Triangulate's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
